Celebrate #InternationalSelfCareDay Everyday with this Simple Routine
Did you know that the International Self-Care Foundation has deemed July 24 as International Self-Care Day? (If you're like me, you may not have even known there was such a thing!) To help you celebrate, I wanted to pass along a quick routine you can do every day to help you pour into YOU, to allow you to shine for your family, community, organizations, and your life!
I know what you're probably thinking. "Self-care...EVERY DAY? I barely have time to wash my hair on the reg..." You've seen the posts out there in cyberworld and social media about lavender-scented baths, hour-long meditations, and yeah, that all sounds lovely, given the time. So you save it for future vacations or wait until you get an entire day off (which, let's face it, is few and faaaaaar between, if ever!).
I wanted to share this simple, yet effective daily routine that you can do in 30 minutes or less, to make sure you're pouring into YOU, babe! It's my mission to encourage you and equip you with the tools needed to prioritize yourself among your endless responsibilities. So whenever you have 30 minutes in your day, give this routine a shot to ensure your stress levels don't get too high, and create a moment of joy and solitude. Let's hop to it, shall we?
5 Ways Meditation Can Help You Achieve Your Goals Faster
This routine I've created allows you to focus on creating a sustainable routine- one that gives you strength, fuel, and motivation- the core components of the Shine Studio Program! A simple, 30minute self-care routine can look like this:
1. 5 MINUTES
Stretching, warming-up, visualizing your day, and setting your intention for the day.
2. 20 MINUTES
Complete a workout, like an at-home workout from The Shine Studio!
3. 5 MINUTES
Cooldown, stretching, and mentally listing everything you're grateful for.
